"We were attracted to R. Pedersen & Sons because of their experience with similar types of buildings, their organizational skills which were initially observed during interview presentations, the hands-on approach of the company owners and a feeling that they would be "easy to work with." All of these initial impressions were realized in the course of construction.

..... The Pedersens worked smoothly and well with the project architects (Marks and Gobel) and with our owner's building representative. They were congenial and cooperative with us when we desired to come out and "look around" or even when we wanted to initiate time and effort producing work order changes. Perhaps the most significant thing that can be said is that the Pedersens completed the project with the respect and appreciation of the ophthalmologists at the CEI. They were our friends and never was there an adversarial feeling amongst us.

..... They seemed to appreciate the distinctive nature of a medical building and approached the project accordingly. We have now been in the building eleven years and continue to be very happy with it. The CEI has been a great place to work and a pleasure to own. It has stood the test of time. Maintenance has been easy and repairs have been kept to a minimum. Never in eleven years has there been a question arise regarding the quality of initial construction."
