    Central Health Building, Corcoran II State Prison
    Location: Corcoran, California
    Client: California Department of Corrections
    Architect: Nacht & Lewis Architects, Sacramento, California

    Working on a $300 million project with numerous general contractors, all with tight schedule parameters presented many day to day challenges. Site wide coordination was probably the most significant challenge.

    Complying with both the detention and health care code requirements in a single building made this project very complex to construct. Not only did we have detention security issues to deal with, but we had medical issues such as the construction of lead shielded x-ray areas.
